6.2.1 Introduction

Throughout the course of the validation study, digital photos were acquired by project personnel. These photos range from photos of equipment to ice features. All photos collected are documented in Table 6.2.1.

Section 6.1 explains the data collected at the various sampling sites. This information is directly related to the photographs and should be reviewed for a better understanding of these data.

Appendix D contains Simon Prinsenburg's (BIO) field report entitled "Sea Ice 2003 Gulf Field Report". This report contains additional information regarding his digital photographs and should be reviewed for a more complete understanding of these data.

Locations of each site, listed in Table 6.2.1, are labeled on flight path maps found in Appendix C.
